Thursday, July 1st, 2021 - Cloud Factory Solutions

Melbourne, VIC - 1 July 2021:   From today, Inecom Pty Ltd will be known as Cloud Factory Solutions, reflecting double-digit growth in demand for the company’s cloud ERP services over the COVID-19 period.

Cloud Factory is a leading Australian provider of hosted cloud solutions across the major ERP platforms, including SAP Business One, MYOB Advanced and Microsoft Dynamics 365 with a growing focus on Azure and Power Apps.

Director Simon Bishop said that the name change represents the company’s maturity and a 10-year growth path in cloud deployment, supporting more than three thousand users with a backdrop of ever increasing client demand to deliver Digital Acceleration for Cloud First policies.

“We were going hard and fast with on-boarding cloud solutions when the pandemic hit – but paradoxically our growth spiked. To deliver, we put even more resources and energy into deploying collaboration tools to support our projects and the additional Solution Specialists required for our growing client base” Mr Bishop said.

“As just one example, Microsoft Teams has become the defacto connection for Cloud Factory’s project management and a single reference point for clients, who in turn are now deploying Teams for their own management and internal communication.

“We believe the approach to projects has forever been changed by COVID and that in a post-pandemic world, our clients will demand ever more innovation across their business systems. Every touchpoint will demand automation and collaboration capability."

Cloud Factory Managing Director Ross Gilchrist said that clients were typically requesting help to build out these capabilities and provide critical support for their digital transformation projects.

“When we set off on our journey in 2010 to investigate a cloud-first approach, we already had many years’ real-life experience in the on-premises market under our belts,” Mr Gilchrist said.

“Our aim back then was purely to address the complexity and cost of on-premises servers, and the positive feedback from our customers was immediate. Within a short time, they had freed themselves from capital license fees for operating systems and databases and the inevitable 3 to 5 year repeatable costs for infrastructure upgrades and testing environments. The icing on the cake was our ability to provide a 24x7 service and device agnostic access capability."

By 2015, Inecom was well under way with new partnerships, Mr Gilchrist said: "We believe Cloud Factory represents the most capable cloud solution and cloud infrastructure offerings in the market that serves from one to five hundred users.”

Cloud Factory partners with a diverse range of clients from ASX-listed ecommerce brands such as Kogan (KGN) and Temple & Webster (TPW) through to sporting bodies, charities, manufacturing and distribution sector.

Wendy Jansz, Practice Director – Dynamics 365, said that the business valued transparency and a tailored approach to each client project.

“In each case we deliver transparent consulting and advice to drive the individuality of each project and this approach starts with passion for our Solution Sales methodology,” Ms Jansz said.

“We are literally a 'Factory for Cloud Solutions', building and delivering reusable setup, configuration and process for going live with our clients’ valued and important projects across multi-cloud/hybrid infrastructure that we now operate within."

Mr Bishop said that today’s businesses have high expectations for flexibility and scalability.

“In times of feast or famine, companies now demand a rapid transition of platforms to suit evolving needs. Cloud Factory is first and foremost a consulting team with deep experience – our clients depend on us to drive the solution selection, implementation and critical support for their business."
