Lexicon Digital has partnered with Mulesoft in a move to further boost its software delivery capabilities and reinforce its alignment to the technology demands of leading Australian enterprise.

“Connecting Lexicon’s high-calibre software delivery capability with Mulesoft’s footprint in Australian enterprise is a powerful combination,” said Lexicon’s managing director Chris Carydias.

“It means our craft of building and delivering great software at speed becomes anchored in a platform that gives simplicity, scale and connectivity to big business.”

Leading Lexicon’s Mulesoft practice is former Sixtree and Deloitte consultant James Garner who has delivered multiple Mulesoft projects across Australia’s key industry verticals.

“There is a definite acceleration of Mulesoft in the market since the Salesforce acquisition and we’ve built our integration team around highly-capable resources who’ve seen these two platforms truly hold hands and deliver genuine efficiency gains,” said Garner.

Mulesoft is a constant across many of Lexicon’s tier one clients, including IOOF, IAG and ANZ, so the move is also in support of the strategic direction of the consultancy’s major partners, all of whom are deep into multi-year transformation programs.

Mulesoft will be one of a select few software partnerships for Lexicon, sitting alongside AWS for cloud computing.

“Our software partnerships are made on the basis of our experience with today’s leading technologies. We partner exclusively with software providers that maximise value, whilst providing a strategic foundation for growth,” said Carydias.

With another year of aggressive growth forecast, Lexicon continues to expand its engineering headcount, even in light of COVID-19’s economic impacts.

“We’re actively looking for passionate software engineers, particularly with Mulesoft capabilities,” said Garner, whose team begins its next Mulesoft program within the financial services sector in the coming weeks.
